A long-term strategic plan for COPD and asthma


Our challenge was simple, to develop strategic recommendations to guide the respiratory portfolio development over the next 15 years including investment decisions in molecules. Our approach was well-calculated.

To provide the right strategy, we took a 4-step approach that grounded investment decisions in robust, future-facing insights.

First, we gathered customer and patient insights and trends to fully understand the evolving market. Next, we conducted catalytic questioning with experts to explore, unlock, and shape the portfolio. We then used the expert ad board and primary research to help validate market trends and highlight opportunities. Finally, we developed a strategic plan consisting of a robust roadmap to shape the development of the pipeline, trials, and investment over the long-term.

In the end, we provided prioritized strategic questions, an environmental mapping report, and future market trends and landscapes, in addition to an ad board approach and planning.

Our evidence generation plans were optimized for future patient and stakeholder needs and our client’s commercial and investment opportunities have been prioritized. Thus, enabling us to help shape the future landscape in the COPD and asthma space for our client.
